Information. It is clear to me I have been brought to a world with many perils, and I wish to know more about those who are entrusted with our security.
To begin with, who does RISE serve? Are you an independent force, or do you answer to the military of our... hosts in these United States?
Quasi-independent. We're not affiliated with the military as much as we are local police. Given our twin roles in both apprehending and prosecuting offenders, we partner with the local law enforcement to take advantage of their investigative manpower to build a case.
The exact extent of my resources is on a need-to-know basis, but I have about a dozen imPorts working primarily on RISE as well as access to the local law enforcement network and national guard. We're stationed in Helix Station in Maurtia Falls.
Twelve imPorts. A most formidable force. You must be on good terms with Ambassador Revan, then, to make his stronghold your barracks.
[A troubling development. If Revan turns against him, he can send more than twelve imPorts after Dooku in addition to his own unique powers. But the Count keeps his voice appreciative, even admiring.]
There weren't any fatalities. I worked with another imPort- Billy Kaplan.
He put a spell on Pan that bounced any spell he tried to cast on someone else onto himself. After that, subduing him was relatively simple, although I'm afraid the spell wore off shortly after- not before I was able to get a nullifying cuff on him though.
Also, at some point I'd like to speak with you about improving RISE's ability to respond to supernatural threats. Right now, I think I'm the only mage among our number.
Logical indeed. From what I understand, the most powerful imPort fighting unit now dwells in the best-defended imPort structure. An imposing combination.
I wonder- does your partnership extend to command over any of the Ambassador's battle droids?
