Gregor said they've been quiet for a while—since just before I got here—so they might be planning for something big soon. I want to know more about what kind of shit they've pulled in the past. What your take on them is.
They've made two big operations in the past, once in Alaska-- that's a territory of this nation to the northwest-- that we rebuffed, and not too recently they made an attempt at invading the primary imPort cities that was somewhat successful until we drove them out. They've also captured a number of imPorts and held them underwater, pretending they were in space.
They're advanced. Aggressive. Ideologically opposed to this nation, but they seem to want to reach out and get imPorts on their side.

Sir, the investigation into the missing persons is going well- we have DNA from the crime scenes, and the victims identified Lucifer as one of the men present at their deaths.

I've been thinking about how many bad guys are out there that most of us don't really know about. I mean, if I asked one of the new imPorts about the Go-Fors or even the Soviets, I'd probably get blank stares. That sounds like a security gap to me.
I'd like approval to draft up a resource for the community, and share it under the RISE name. A roster of the threats we know are gunning for us.

It's not a bad idea. One concern: I don't want to include everything we know in it. If it's public, it'd be telling said enemies everything we know about them.

The empowering of natives was the most significant development. Thus far, I haven't pushed to include them in our jurisdiction... yet. It makes sense for us to be the ones to take down any rogue elements, but trying them in our tribunal may be a bridge too far for the civilian leadership.

Not entirely unreasonable, if they'll be subject to the traditional legal system, instead of receiving three months in prison for murdering dozens.

I hope to inspire education and the spread of knowledge to the natives of Maurtia Falls as well as provide an invaluable resource to new arrivals here. But more than that, I wish to use it to pay homage to the natives who lost their lives within Maurtia Falls due to imPort related tragedies. Their names will be honored within the library itself and donations will be set up to be made to the families.
For this project to succeed, I need your help. If you are able to donate anything at all to the cause, it would be most appreciated -- whether that is books, money, or simply your time. It would be an excellent way to advertise RISE and what they can do for the community.

One that's either an imPort, or has access to unusual technology- though I don't know how you'd use technology to cause what's happening in Maurtia Falls. In either case, it's probably RISE's business. [Even if it's stupid.]
