Major General Armstrong, isn't it? This is Admiral Miles Naismith - one of your current prisoners assaulted me on the sub.

Lucifer did more than just hurt me physically. He left an indelible, magical mark on my sternum - one that he has kindly offered to remove if I advocate for his early release.

I have a slightly different arrangement in mind. Would it be possible to make him erasing the mark a requirement for his release?

Interesting. I suppose I can add coercion and blackmail to the list of charges he's racked up.

But you're more concerned with getting rid of the mark, I imagine.

Very much so. I can't get it off without him. Surgical intervention would kill me.

He claims it's an observation spell. Able to pin down my location at all times. I'm getting a second opinion, though. The damn thing is visible on x-rays - I'd be happy to provide you with proof.

No, that won't be necessary.

You should know, however, that I intend to charge him with larger crimes. He may not be released at all. In that case, what would you do?

Then I would be safe, I suppose. But at least offer it to him - see if he takes it.
